Construction Seminars NW, LLC is working with various associations, organizations and companies involved in the construction and development industries to provide you with educational and training opportunities. In addition, we would like to make available new or updated product knowledge and contact information for various vendors and associations.
Dispute Free construction and development projects are not projects without problems or
conflicts – they are projects with effective tools to resolve problems and conflicts.

Providing you with training and knowledge to improve your project management skills, administration techniques, increase profitability and provide creative alternatives to avoid or resolve construction, design and development problems or disputes is our goal.

You can obtain this training, information and knowledge in five different formats:

1. Seminars: A series of Breakfast Seminars is offered to help contractors, designers, owners and others involved in the construction and development industries, access the experience of others at a fraction of the cost of traditional seminars. These three-hour, condensed seminars are aimed at improving your project management skills, administration techniques, improve profitability and provide creative alternatives to avoid or resolve construction disputes. The seminar cost is about $68.00 and includes a breakfast buffet - attendees also receive a subscription to the Construction/Development/Design e-mail Newsletter.

2. Workshops: Various workshops are also available for specific areas of training and cover numerous topics related to design, construction, development scheduling, estimating, inspection and other aspects of construction. Workshops are setup for 15 to 40 participants and may be scheduled for 2 or 3 hour time slots. Costs for a Workshop vary from $1,500 to $2,400 - varying with the location, topic, number of attendees and speaker(s). A typical Workshop would run 3 hours (from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM or 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM) and cost about $50 to $100 per person. We normally recommend training for all members of a company or organization to take full advantage of the materials and principles taught at a Workshop.

3. Custom Training: A workshop or seminar can be custom designed for you and setup to meet your specific needs. Custom workshops may be scheduled for a longer duration or broken into a series of daily or weekly training events. Costs for a Custom Training Workshop vary from about $1,500 to $3,000 - depending on your specific needs, requests and goals.

4. Guest Speakers: Should you need help in locating a speaker for your function or event, with a topic related to the construction, design or development industries, we can help you locate a speaker. Please provide us with the topic, nature of the group, type of audience (size, age range, etc.), location, time format and any other constraints or guidelines. Typically a speaker will provide you with a 20 to 30 minute presentation and allow another 15 minutes for questions. Depending on the location and the required driving time for a speaker, there is normally no charge for this service.

5. Newsletter: A Construction/Development/Design e-mail Newsletter with abbreviated, concise and focused articles is available for you. As with the seminars and workshops, the goal is to provide you with information to improve project management skills, administration techniques, improve profitability and provide creative alternatives to avoid or resolve problems and disputes. The cost for the e-mail newsletter $18.00 per year.
